Diane practices in all areas of employment and labour law, with a particular emphasis on grievance arbitration, construction labour relations, occupational health and safety, employee issues, and management training.
Diane obtained her law degree from the University of Ottawa’s Common Law program. During law school, Diane spent time with Canada Post’s Labour Relations department, Human Resources and Skills Development Canada, and the Public Service Labour Relations Board. She was also a member of the first place team at the Willem C. Vis international commercial arbitration moot in Vienna, Austria against 263 other law schools. Prior to law school, Diane graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor of Commerce, with a major in Management and a minor in Human Resources Management.
Diane articled and started her practise with a boutique management-side labour and employment law firm in Toronto. During her articles, she also seconded with the Ontario Labour Relations Board.
Diane is a Board Member of the Ontario Electrical League. She is also an active member of the Portuguese community in Toronto.
