Laura Karabulut is a partner in the firm’s Toronto office. She represents employers in all aspects of labour and employment law, including wrongful dismissal litigation, human rights matters, labour board matters and employment standards proceedings.
Laura has authored and contributed to a number of publications on labour relations and employment law matters. Recent publications include Public Health in the Workplace 2nd and 3rd ed., a CLV Special Report, and the Canadian Human Rights Act: Quick Reference Guide, 2009 to 2013 editions. Laura speaks at conferences and seminars on various topics including public health emergencies in the workplace, human rights, workplace violence and workplace harassment.
Laura joined the firm as an articling student in 2004 and practised with the firm as an associate.
EducationLaura received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from York University in 2000, and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario in 2004.
