Melanie D. McNaught
Melanie D. McNaught is a partner in the firm. Melanie practises in all areas of labour and employment law. She has a particular interest in civil litigation, education law, privacy law and human rights.
Melanie articled at the Ontario Court of Appeal, clerking for O’Connor A.C.J.O., Laskin, Sharpe and Armstrong JJ.A. Melanie worked at the firm as a law student before joining the firm in 2003 as an associate upon her Call to the Bar.
Melanie is a co-author of the Canada Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act: Quick Reference and Ontario Human Rights Code: Quick Reference. She has also contributed to the Employment Litigation Manual and written numerous seminar papers.
EducationMelanie received a Bachelor of Journalism with a Minor in Economics from Carleton University in 1999, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Victoria in 2002, where she was awarded the Bette Kennedy Scholarship.
