Sara represents employers in all aspects of labour and employment law, including advising on employment contracts, workplace policies, employee terminations, disciplinary issues, and human rights issues. She actively collaborates with employers, providing practical, proactive, and strategic management advice.
Sara has a track record of successfully resolving wrongful dismissal and other legal claims, and has represented the interests of her clients before Ontario courts and administrative tribunals, including the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Tribunal, the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, and the Court of Appeal for Ontario. She is also a trained workplace investigator who is regularly retained to investigate workplace incidents such as harassment, sexual harassment, bullying, and discrimination.
Prior to joining the firm, Sara worked as an associate lawyer at a full-service law firm for several years, focusing on management side labour and employment law.
