Clifton is an associate lawyer in the Toronto office. He completed summer and articling terms with the Firm before returning as an associate.
Clifton received his Juris Doctor from Queen’s University Faculty of Law and has an undergraduate degree from York University with a double major in Sociology, and Human Rights and Equity Studies. Prior to law school, Clifton worked as a licensed paralegal in a boutique employment law firm.
Clifton’s education and work history informs his holistic, yet practical, approach to the practice of law. His understanding of the intersection between human rights and employment law allows him to guide employers through even the most challenging workplace issues.
Fluent in both English and Cantonese, Clifton provides advice and representation to employers – of all sizes and across all sectors – on a full range of labour, employment, and human rights law matters.
When he is not practicing law, Clifton enjoys going to the gym, playing squash, and trying new food.
