Executive Summary
Hossein is a Toronto-based partner at the Firm. He is an enthusiastic advocate who offers expert advice and guidance to employers on a wide spectrum of employment, labour, and human rights matters. Hossein’s practical approach to workplace issues enables him to provide innovative solutions to the most intricate workplace challenges in both unionized and non-unionized environments. Hossein regularly advises clients on disability management issues including both workers’ compensation claims and non-occupational absences and has appeared before courts and administrative tribunals on a broad range of matters.
Beyond his day to day practice, Hossein is an engaged member of the legal community. He is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association, where he has served on the executive of the Labour & Employment Law, and the Sexual and Gender Diversity Alliance (SAGDA) Sections for over a decade.
Hossein regularly speaks at conferences, meetings and seminars held by various human resources groups and organizations in Toronto and throughout Ontario.
Hossein is a member of the Firm’s Human Resource Committee, as well as the Associate and Student Committee where he takes an active role in associate and student recruitment, development and mentorship. As a former member of the Diversity Committee, he takes PRIDE in being an advocate for advancing equitable workplaces.
Hossein joined the Firm in 2021 following his tenure with a leading labour and employment boutique.
