Executive Summary
Laura joined the firm as an associate in 2018 after practicing with a national full-service law firm for two years. She became a partner of the firm in 2023.
Laura practises in all areas of labour and employment law, with a particular focus on employment litigation. Laura has acted as counsel in wrongful dismissal litigation, human rights proceedings, and grievance arbitrations. She also has experience in confidential arbitration and investigations.
Laura provides strategic advice in employment litigation and labour relations matters. Laura has a particular interest in complex wrongful dismissal claims involving departing executives and breaches of restrictive covenants, such as confidentiality, non-competition and non-solicitation clauses. She has experience assisting on injunctions and employment-related shareholder disputes.
Laura advises clients in both the private and public sectors across a range of industries, including manufacturing, technology, retail, government services, financial services and professional services.
