Executive Summary
Mark is an associate lawyer in the Toronto office. He completed summer and articling terms at the Firm before returning as an associate after his call to the bar.
Mark provides advice and representation in all areas of management-side labour and employment law in both the private and public sectors. Mark routinely advises management in respect of grievance arbitrations, collective bargaining, occupational health and safety, human rights, and privacy. While he is a skilled and passionate advocate, Mark relentlessly seeks proactive, practical solutions to the complex workplace issues faced by modern employers.
During his time at Western Law, Mark was an executive with the Labour & Employment Law Society as well as an Associate Caseworker with London’s Community Legal Services. Mark also participated extensively in advocacy competitions, finishing as a finalist in the interprovincial Davies Corporate/Securities Moot where he also received an award for his written advocacy. Currently, Mark serves on the Board of Directors for University Settlement, which has the distinction of being the first community-based social service centre in the City of Toronto.
