Bill 132: How is your organization faring one year on?

About this topic:

Bill 132, also known as the Sexual Violence and Harassment Action Plan Act (Supporting Survivors and Challenging Sexual Violence and Harassment), 2016, came into force on September 8, 2016.

Bill 132 imposed a new set of obligations on employers regarding their harassment policies and procedures, including the duty to properly investigate complaints of workplace harassment or sexual harassment.

In the months since, HR professionals have found themselves grappling with some of the most difficult issues of their careers.

Join us for this 90-minute interactive session, where you will:

  • Hear from your peers about the types of complaints they are dealing with and how they have handled particular issues and challenges
  • Learn strategies for maintaining morale – before, during, and after an investigation
  • Come away with tips on how to create and maintain a psychologically safe and civil work environment

Presenters:

Frances Gallop and Lynne O'Neill, Principal, Extraordinary Conversations.
