Employees Gone Wild: Tips to Avoid and Address Indecency in the Workplace

Everyone has heard a story, either in the news or from a friend, of something wild happening in the workplace, or between co-workers. Although these stories are often entertaining from a distance, these incidents can cause big headaches for employers. In addition to causing unrest in the workplace itself, these situations can also present the risk of legal liability, as well as harm to organizational reputation.

Join us for an engaging and informative seminar in which real-life scenarios will be used to highlight:

  • The duty to protect employees from discrimination and harassment in the workplace
  • What policies employers should consider putting in place (and how to enforce them)
  • Employer obligations at workplace events, including work-sanctioned holiday parties
  • When - and what type of - discipline may be appropriate when workplace indiscretions arise

CPD Hours: This program is eligible for up to 1.5 substantive hours.

Presenters: Casey Dockendorff, Darren Avery and Natalie Garvin
